Dashboards
Create Dashboards
Visualize your PR performance with customizable dashboards
View as MarkdownDashboards let you monitor PR Analytics and AI Visibility at a glance. Track coverage trends, compare campaigns, and combine clipping and GEO insights in one view.
Create & edit#
Go to the Dashboards tab to edit existing dashboards or create new ones.
- Duplicate dashboards: Quickly reuse a dashboard structure, for example to create a similar view for a different campaign or time period.
- Preset filters: Limit the view to clippings from a single tag, market, or campaign. This helps tailor each dashboard to specific goals.
Charts#
Each dashboard is built from charts. You can add new charts, edit existing ones, or duplicate charts to quickly create variations.
Chart Types#
- Summary Card – highlight one key number.
- Pie Chart – visualize shares or distribution.
- Bar Chart – compare values across categories.
- Line Chart – show trends over time.
- Table – compare several metrics across dimensions such as brands or AI providers.
Data sources#
- Clippings: choose built-in PR metrics (reach, impressions, media value, etc.) or custom metrics from your project settings.
- AI Visibility: use GEO metrics such as visibility, mentions, citations, position, sentiment, and share of voice. Availability depends on the chart type and your project license.
Grouping Values#
For clipping data, group by tags, channels, countries, outlets, time, or a custom metric. For AI Visibility, group by brand, provider, topic, prompt, country, or time, depending on the chart.
Rearrange & interact#
- Rearrange charts: Drag and drop to set the order that works best for you.
- Interactive filters: Apply filters on the fly to explore different angles of your data without changing the dashboard setup.
- Comparison periods: Turn on comparisons to show trend indicators and deltas against another date range. You can compare with the previous period of the same length, the same dates in the previous year, or a custom date range.
Comparison Periods#
Comparison periods control which data aclipp uses as the baseline for percentage changes and trend indicators in dashboard charts.
- Previous comparable period compares the selected date range with the immediately preceding range of the same length. For example, June 1-30 is compared with May 2-31.
- Same period last year compares the selected date range with the matching calendar dates one year earlier. This is useful for seasonal reporting.
- Custom range lets you choose the exact comparison dates yourself. Use this when the baseline should match a campaign, event, launch window, or another period that does not line up with the automatic options.
When you save a comparison setting as the dashboard default, everyone opening the dashboard starts from that comparison setup. Viewers can still change the comparison on the fly when interactive dashboard controls are available.
